Behind The Name
We’re commonly known as AKISA LLC, but the story behind our name is personal. We launched in December 2022, and we’re David and Angie.
The knight in our logo was inspired by something close to home. From a very young age, our youngest daughter called David “King David,” and to her, he was her king. When it came time to name our business, we wanted something memorable that also reflected who we are and the values we bring to our work. A Knight in Shining Armor felt like the perfect fit—representing honor, protection, loyalty, and strength. Those values carry into the way we serve our clients. When someone books with AKISA Events, we want them to feel confident that they’re working with people who care about their celebration and are committed to providing dependable, professional service.
We’re also a close-knit, fun-loving family. You’ll often see us enjoying everyday life with our children, grandchildren, siblings, nieces, nephews, and even our parents. Follow along and get to know the real people behind AKISA Events—we’re glad to have you along for the journey.
